Keep your eyes peeled for swordfish, guys are starting to see them finning. Good counts this morning on barracuda off Huntington Beach. A large grade of bluefin is being reported below San Diego. Their recommending 40lb test line for these bruisers, 20 and 25 pound test isn't cutting it. 06/28

Jun. 27, 6:43 PM, A little wind today but not bad.........sportboats are trying to scramble and get some guys to make trips.......this bluefin showing as close as 60 miles is the sign that they need to get on the schools and stay on them to make a season......Catalina stil

Jun. 24, 7:27 PM, The tuna fleet out of San Diego caught the first bluefin of the year within 1.5 day range.....90 miles......local barracuda up and down again but the consistant giant calico bite along the coast has been the talk of the town 6/24

We went fishing out of newport with live squid and landed a 45.3 and 55.2 pound white seabass. we were fishing in Huntington area. My name is Lamar Lee.
