Well, the gang and I from the magazine made our way out to Orlando, Florida, to check out all of the new tackle for the '09 - '10 season. There were too many new products to go into, but a couple that stood out were...
...the new Makaira two-speed reels that Okuma has brought out. They are classy and are engineered like a Tiburon. Also Daiwa came out with their new Saltist two-speed, which is very reasonably priced for a two-speed reel, and its real sharp-looking too. Shimano has their new two-speed Talica. It's small and more compact than anything on the market, yet it can handle the big braids.
Looks like a great lineup for '09 - '10!
