MLPA, Flattie Fishing

I’m sitting here in shock this morning trying to digest what just happened, after the MLPA "Blue Ribbon" task force completed their "landmark" railroading job on us "consumptives."  Not that it's unexpected.

Evidently others know how to better manage our resources. Clearly they are more enlightened than the Department of Fish and Game, who will likely rubber stamp the proposal, then figure out how in the heck they are going to enforce it. Makes perfect sense eh?

Flattie fishing has been good lately, in spite of what the “experts” say. Last Thursday we bounceballed off Pt Loma in 60 feet for 4 legal fish, with one 20lb and another 15lb class fish in the mix.

Dredged up this funky pirate kite from the depths with heaps of Dacron attached. Sure hope it wasn’t the MLPA research vessel on a data collecting mission!

HUGE THANKS to the enormous efforts and sacrifices made by many in support of our cause.

I need to get back on the water and go fishing……….arghhh!

Tight Lines,

Rick
